Tomorrow we find out if our little one is a boy or girl. We have been looking forward to this appointment for the last four weeks. In fact, our last two ‘weekly’ photos seemed rather inconsequential and served mainly to pass the time leading up to tomorrow’s milestone.
Kristy and both Moms are now guessing that Baby Gray will be a girl. The record shows that Kristy has flip-flopped on this issue like a good politician. I really have no idea and am withholding judgment accordingly.
My mom asked how we would communicate the gender of our little one. Just a couple years ago she probably wouldn’t have to ask. Now we must decide between broadcasting on facebook, twitter, this blog, email, and the countless other marginally impersonal communication channels that technology has brought us. I think my mom and dad will still get a call tomorrow afternoon.

Okay – to set the record straight I have thought it was a boy since day one (growing up I always thought I'd have a boy first) *until* about two weeks ago. Not sure what the change was but I woke up one day thinking I was carrying a girl.
And although Bill continues to withold judgment he has referred to the baby as "he" on several occasions. 🙂
It's tomorrow!!!!! Are you going to be picking out little girl names or little boy names! Oh, do tell, the suspense is killing me!
ME TOO!!! I don't knowhow you waited until delivery day. The suspense is killing me!
We find out in about an hour. Names are already picked out, although we're keeping them a secret (have to leave some suspense).
Oh wow, I was thinking your appointment would be later in the day. I'll be home at 3:30….. You could call dad and he could confrence me on the call. I've been thinking about you all day and had you in my prayers this morning.
Yes, we did wait until the moment of birth to find out about you. I'm kind of glad you are keeping the names secret. When Bill was born dad made the final decision about your first name right after you were born. Your middle name was already decided by me.
Lots of Love,
Mom
