It’s SO MUCH FUN when kids really start to talk! Lilly cracks me up and surprises me every day with the things she has to say. Here’s an example of a brief conversation we had earlier today when the top came off her ‘mud pie kitchen’ outside.
Lilly: ‘What happenned, Mama?’
Me: ‘The top came off, sweetie. Dada will fix it.’
Lilly: ‘When’s he coming home?’
Me: ‘Dada will be home soon. Dada will be home on Friday (it’s Wednesday).’
Lilly: ‘Okay, Mama. I wait for Dada right here. I wait for Dada in the chair (she sits down in the chair).’
Me: ‘Lilly, Dada isn’t coming home tonight, but Aunt Martha is coming over soon.’
Lilly: ‘Mmm…Aunt Martha fix it?’

I love the conversation Martha told me about when she was at your house for dinner, regarding putting her feet on the table. Matha said Lilly had decided to put her feet on the table at dinner and the conversation went something like this.
K: Lilly, Are Martha’s feet on the table?
L: Nooooo
K: Are Mama’s feet on the table?
L: No, your feet to big.
