Yesterday Bill and I left my parent’s house at 7am for a day trip in Sedona. It was my first full day away from Lilly, who stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. We started the trip off by climbing the steep trail up to Cathedral Rock. It was the perfect day for a hike – 60 degrees and sunny. When we were done we at lunch at a vegan restaurant near downtown called DLish. I tried veganaise for the first time, which was delicious but left me with a stomachache and a trip to Walgreens for tums. Thankfully we made it on time to our Pink Jeep Tour of Broken Arrow. The scenery was beautiful. We made several stops along the way and did some serious off-roading! In Sedona we also walked around the downtown area and drove up to Oak Creek Canyon. By the end of the trip we were ready to head home and see Lilly – unfortunately she went to sleep just before we got home (at 8pm). My parents did a great job taking care of Lilly and I’m pretty sure they had as much fun yesterday as we did!
