Lilly wakes up happy, alert, and ready to take on the day each morning and afternoon – just like her mom. She is learning new words every day and expressing her wants and needs like never before. She loves to ‘help’ around the house and continues to show interest in building things and taking them apart – definitely takes after her daddy in this way. L is far more interested in playing with plastic cutlery or blocks and sweeping up her cheerios than she is in playing with baby dolls. She is quite the handful when the two of us are alone together (constantly wants to be picked up and points to different objects around the house she wants to pay with – very short attention span), but when we go out to classes or playgroups she is off on her own playing and observing the other kids. This is why we get out a lot! She is also the ideal child when I take her to grocery shopping, etc. Can’t wait to see how different her little sister/brother will be. 🙂
